End of placement job offer!
At the end of the 6 month placement, there is the opportunity to extend employment through a placement extension or a permanent offer. This is dependant on employee performance throughout the placement and where the studio is at with it's development roadmap/budgets.

As the below roles are funded by the UK Government's Kickstart Scheme. A scheme designed to boost employment for young adults with exciting new career opportunities. The roles are ONLY available to applicants aged 16 - 24 on Universal Credit (excluding Ireland), who are eligible for the scheme.

When discussing with your work coach about the role, please ONLY refer to it as 'Game Developer', to avoid confusion with them.

2) If eligible, continue to apply for the role you are most interested in and select the appropriate option to indicate you are eligible for Universal Credit in the first section of the application form. If offered the position, you will just need to apply for Universal Credit before we can officially hire you (subject to being eligible for the Kickstart Scheme). It takes roughly 1-2 weeks on average to successfully register onto Universal Credit. You will finally need to inform your work coach of the below 'Game Developer' vacancy details to trigger the referral email.

Is there a deadline to apply for this Kickstart Scheme oppotunity?


The scheme ends at the end of December 2021! We are hiring every month for the rest of the year. Although roles under the Game Development vacancy, such as 3D Artist, will become limited towards the end of the year. So do apply ASAP!




I graduate later this year. Can I apply then?


Yes absolutely! The Kickstart Scheme is an excellent opportunity for those looking to kickstart their career in the video games industry. Once you have graduated/are eligible to apply for Universal Credit, apply for the role of choice on our career page.




How long and complex is the recruitment process?


It takes up to 2 weeks on average for successful applicants after we have notified you of being shortlisted during the initial screening stage of the recruitment process. Depending on the role you have applied for, such as Game Programmer or 3D Artist, you will either have a final interview with a test or just an interview. A start date will shortly follow upon confirmation of the offer.




When can I expect to hear back from my application?


Whilst we continue to receive a high volume of applications due to the popularity of the roles/kickstart scheme opportunity, we aim to get back to applicants 1-2 weeks after submission to determine whether they have been successful in the initial screening stage of their application.
